Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

Depart from your home to Hanoi – Vietnam Capital. Welcome at the airport and our tour guide will meet and take you to the city center for check in and stay overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour

This morning you will take the city tour to Vietnam’s first university, the thousand-year-old Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh complex and Tran Quoc Pagoda.
Optional tour: Hanoi Street food (SIC, dinner tour)
Street food is generally considered artisan food sold on street, or to be concise, not served from restaurant or café. Visiting Hanoi without exploring some delicious street food will be a great regret. These inexpensive delicacies provide an insight into the intricacies and traditions of Vietnamese cuisine. Hanoi’s tempting food stalls and family-run cafes are waiting for you.
You will have a taste of Northern Vietnamese delicacies such as: stuffed pancake, banh my, stuffed sticky rice balls, the unique egg coffee.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay

Take a 3.5 hours transfer from Hanoi to Halong, one of the World Seven Wonders. You will embark on a day cruise tour around the bay and a visit to Thien Cung or Sung Sot cave. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight on Junk.

Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi – fly to Danang

Awake early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Enjoy a morning coffee or tea, before setting out to explore nearby island by rowboat. Return to the junk for breakfast then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Halong Bay. Your driver will meet you at the Halong jetty and take you back to Hanoi. We will transfer you to the airport for flight to Danang. On arrival, our driver and guide will pick you up to hotel for check-in.

Day 5: Hoi An - Half day walking tour

Explore Hoian’s bustling local market and other attractions with unique architecture such as Hoi An Museum, Old Merchants’ House, Assembly Hall and the Japanese Covered Bridge. Enjoy a stroll along the peaceful Thu Bon River, once the world’s famous trading port.

Optional tour: Hoi An Cooking Class:
This optional tour will introduce you to Vietnamese cuisine. Chef will demonstrate the cooking process. Then you cook by yourself under chef ‘s observant. After finishing the course, it will comes a great time to enjoy your own food.

Day 6: Hoi An

You are free at leisure to enjoy water-sport games or explore the ancient town of Hoi An as you wish. Overnight at hotel in Hoi An.

Day 7: Hoi An – Hue

The morning is leaving Hoi An ancient town to Hue. You will have a half day sightseeing in Hue such as: Hue citadel, Thien Mu Pagoda “Lady Pagoda where you will have a great view of the Perfume River and surroundings area. Drive to the hotel for check in.

Day 8: Hue

Free at leisure to explore the city as you wish.

Day 9: Hue – Saigon

Start a new day as a local. And then you will leave Hue for flight to Saigon. On arrival, meet and take you to visit a brief Saigon tour including: Notre Dame Cathedral, Post Office, War Remnant Museum and walking around at Ben Thanh market. Late afternoon, check in at hotel in Saigon.

Day 10: Saigon free at leisure

Today you are free at leisure or buy an optional tour to Mekong Delta full day. Start your Mekong Delta exploring to Ben Tre Province to embark on board cruise on Ben Tre river (one of tributaries of Mekong river, sight-seeing lively activities along river as fishing, water transferring). Stop at brickwork to see how to make bricks in handy traditional style by printing and baking. Next, visit one of plenty of coconut processing workshops located along canal. Turn on natural scissors creeks where they look smaller and smaller to go to village and take a walk to family workshop making sleep mats and enjoying some fruits and tea. Continue taking a motor cart (xe lôi) or cycle riding under tree shades, pass by green rice fields and vegetable plains to be able to touch on really life and find out about tropical culture from Peasants. Lunch is served at the restaurant riverside. Afternoon, you take rowing-boat along water palm creek and boat back to Hung Vuong Pier, where your transport is waiting back to Saigon.

Day 11: Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels

You will have a half day visiting Cu Chi Tunnels. At its height, the tunnel system stretched over 250km from Saigon to the Cambodian border and was three levels deep. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the U.S – Vietnam. Lunch is served at local restaurant. Return to Saigon this afternoon.
