Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Arrival

Welcome to Saigon, the country’s financial hub & the most dynamic city of Vietnam! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in & break.
This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner on Saigon River Cruise, which helps to see the shimmering Saigon from “out of the box”.

Day 2: Saigon - Long Tan Tour

After breakfast, travel by bus to visit the place that served as the Australian Military Base during the Vietnam War, explore the Long Phuoc Tunnels, a byzantine maze of underground passages, chambers and booby traps used by the Viet Cong during the war as their hideout. Then, attend a memorial service at Long Tan Cross. The tour includes a local lunch on the way.
This evening we’ll have dinner at a local restaurant with matching wine menu designed by celebrity Luke Nguyen.

Day 3: Saigon - Mekong Cruise

Escape the city for a tour of the Mekong Delta. On arrival at Cai Be, embark the cruise to start your discovery of what life is like beyond the urban Centre of the south. During the cruise, you will stop along the way to visit the artisanal villages where rice and coconut products are produced. You also have the opportunity to walk through verdant orchards. Lunch is served on board while cruising towards Can Tho.
In the afternoon, we go onshore and discover the local villages on foot or by bike and make contact with the local inhabitants. Later, return to your cruise, have dinner and overnight on board.

Day 4: Can Tho – Saigon

Early wake up to enjoy the dawn on Mekong River. Afterwards, check-out your cruise, say “goodbye” to our friendly staff and disembark. You will be transferred by small boat to Cai Rang, one of the most bustling floating markets in Mekong Delta. After lunch at a local restaurant, road transfer back to Saigon.

Day 5: Saigon City Tour – Flight to Siem Reap

After breakfast, late check- out of the hotel to discover Saigon with highlights such as Notre Dame Cathedral, Post Office, War Remnant Museum and soaking up the atmosphere at Ben Thanh market, one of Saigon’s liveliest areas. Have Pho, a local specialty, for your lunch today then enjoy your free time until transfer to the airport for a short flight to Siem Reap. After landing off, you’ll be picked up and transferred to the hotel for check-in.

Day 6: Siem Reap – Angkor Temples Complex

Rise up early today when it’s cooler and less crowded to see the mystical Angkor Wat at dawn. The special tour is arranged with a private table, tea, coffee, snack… inside the temple site for your best enjoyment. Later, back to the hotel where you will have breakfast and relax.
This afternoon, visit Angkor Thom (the Great City) beginning by the south gate and the famous Bayon of the 12th and 13th centuries. Then, journey to the Elephant Terrace and the raised Leper King Terrace, built in the 12th century and which features many beautifully sculptured Apsaras. Round off the trip with a visit to the ancient Ta Prohm Monastery then travel back to the hotel.
Dinner tonight is served at a local restaurant with Apsara dance.

Day 7: Siem Reap - Tonle Sap Lake – Flight to Bangkok

After breakfast, transfer to discover a floating village on the Tonle Sap Lake, and as yet bypassed by mass tourism. All the houses are on stilts offering an exceptional natural environment with breathtaking views of floodplains, rice fields and water vistas as far as the eye can see. Walk through the village meeting the locals and a family who raises crocodiles. Afterwards, travel by boat over the canals to a large lake where Vietnamese people live when they are displaced from their homes because of the seasons. Then we return to Siem Reap for lunch before taking a flight to Bangkok. After landing off, you’ll be welcomed by our guide who then escorts you to the hotel by water taxi.

Day 8: Bangkok City Tour

Take a short cruise from your hotel and continue by tuk-tuk to the Grand Palace — the official residence of the kings of Siam — and later. Visit the Emerald Buddha Temple, regarded as the most important Buddhist temple in Thailand. It contains an image of Buddha flawlessly carved from a single block of jade. Tour the temple of Wat Pho to view its gilded, 160-foot-long Reclining Buddha, while the musical sound of coins tossed into brass complements your experience. At lunch, enjoy a special Thai cooking demonstration. This evening, gather with fellow guests for a cocktail and welcome dinner.

Day 9: Bangkok - Kanchanaburi

Depart early this morning to catch up the best moment of visiting the world-famous Damnern Saduak Floating Market. This is an ideal place to see the traditional way of trading fruits, vegetables and others from small boats. You will also be able to see traditional Thai houses and the way locals use boats in their everyday lives. From right in the heart of Kanchanaburi, we will board the train for a ride on the historic Death Railway Train (approximately 30 minutes – from Tha KiLen to Tham Krasae), which passes through a lush forest along the original wooden viaducts. After having lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll continue to the Allied War Cemetery and JEATH War Museum, which is a replica of prisoner of war camp and contains many photographs, artefacts and other memorabilia.

Day 10: Kanchanaburi – Ayutthaya

An early start to travel to Ayutthaya, the second Siamese capital after Sukhothai for over 400 years, once glorified as the largest city in Southeast Asia. In the centre of the city, lies Ayutthaya Historical Park, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you can see the ruins of the former capital and its remaining palaces, monasteries and towers; one can envision the grandeur and splendour that was once the Kingdom of Ayutthaya. After lunch, continue to the Chai Wattanaram Temple, built by King Prasat Tong, a commoner who overthrew the previous king and took his throne. Then, transfer to check in your hotel and spend the rest of the time at leisure.

Day 11: Ayutthaya - Bangkok

Following breakfast at the hotel, transfer back to Bangkok. On arrival, take a visit to a flower market followed by a witness of the Thai Buddhist Blessing ceremony at a local temple. A vegetarian lunch is prepared and served at the temple as well.
This evening, enjoy your farewell dinner at a local restaurant to round off the unforgettable trip with us.

Day 12: Bangkok - Depart

After breakfast, enjoy your free time until transfer to airport for your flight home.
